3. Information on Data Processing

The personal data processed when using this website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion or unless otherwise specified for individual processing activities below.

3.1 Server Data

For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to me or to my webspace provider. These so-called server log files include:

  • Type and version of your internet browser
  • Operating system
  • Website from which you accessed my website (referrer URL)
  • The pages of my website you visit
  • Date and time of access
  • IP address of the internet connection used

This data is stored temporarily, but not together with other personal data.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
My legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of my website.

The data is deleted after no more than seven days, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. In such cases, the data is exempt from deletion until the incident is finally resolved.

3.2 Contact Inquiries / Contact Options

If you contact me via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your inquiry. The provision of this data is necessary for processing and responding to your request – without it, I cannot process your inquiry or only to a limited extent.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been conclusively answered, provided that no statutory retention obligations (e.g., in the case of a subsequent contract) apply.

3.3 User Contributions, Comments & Ratings

I offer you the opportunity to publish questions, answers, opinions, or reviews (hereinafter referred to as “contributions”) on my website. If you make use of this option, your contribution, the date and time of submission, and any pseudonym you may have chosen will be processed and published.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR.

In addition, I also process your IP and email address. The IP address is processed because I have a legitimate interest in taking or supporting further action if your contribution infringes the rights of third parties and/or is otherwise unlawful.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
My legitimate interest lies in any necessary legal defense.

3.4 Subscription to Contributions

If you publish contributions on my website, I also offer you the option of subscribing to follow-up contributions from third parties. To inform you about such follow-up contributions via email, I process your email address.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
You may withdraw your consent to this subscription at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR. To do so, simply inform me of your withdrawal or click the unsubscribe link provided in the respective email.
